This was Izzati’s visual story of the current world pandemic situation and also how it affected her art style and expressions.
Lack of social interaction was an issue as her inspirations in art is via her observation and interactions with people and places.
Pandemikku is her first artwork after a long hiatus an uninspired period of pandemic. this is also a rare piece where she painted and drew directly on canvas without any pencil outlines or preparations prior as well as her 1st abstract impressionism art expression.
Shapes and patterns representing people , boxes of lock downed states. Black borders surrounding rings of represents the covid viruses contained by vaccinations.
Silver & gold are people who have been successfully vaccinated and can only move on /upwards represented via the arrowhead /triangles shapes.
