Silk

In nature, the empty cocoon is the product that is left at the end of a transformational process. In accordance with this, the project reflects on personal growth while symbolizing what is left behind. Roughly maintaining the structure how it is found in nature, but appropriating it through aestheticization to make it look dreamy has a melancholic but refreshing outcome. Crocheted details have been inspired by the textile artist Ana Teresa Barboza.
