A special mention for the series created by Slovenian artist Živa/Agrež, who, with "A Tribute to Soča" - particularly number 02 - manages to make the spring freshness of the water from the Isonzo/Soča River palpable by creating a base of stucco and wood glue, then veiling it with light layers of acrylic. These are 22 perspectives that the artist directs towards their own river, a reflection that sits midway between a personal diary and the symbolic value of the waterway, between pristine purity and the potential avenue for exchange and knowledge.
