"My blue heaven" is an acrylic on canvas where every element—the brushstroke, composition, preparatory design—expresses itself with great confidence and technical mastery. It presents a bold perspective that leads the viewer towards a luminous and symbolic sky, a woman's figure treated as a warm shade of yellow, an anatomy with unnatural colors that nevertheless maintains a pulse of life in the nervous gesture of the hands, in the proud and direct gaze. Irina Greciuhina, internationally acclaimed and present at the Chisinau Biennale in 2019 and 2021, achieves a truly intriguing result with "My blue heaven." The observer is unsettled by the spatial reversal: in two of the perspective elements, the gray field is dotted with brushstrokes that the long shadow of a setting sun reveals to be people seen from above, people moving frantically in a vast empty space. The zenithal view is logical, coherent, impeccable: its use in the composition does justice to art as a realm of imagination, with a dreamlike force that possesses the precision of memory and the absolute freedom of creative expression. One is inclined to turn the painting, to bring back to normalcy the stroll through this crowded square, and yet the work still maintains a solid equilibrium: the woman's gaze continues to follow us, initiating an engaging spiral of perspectives and emotions.

"My blue heaven" belongs entirely to the great European figurative tradition: the perspective, the attention to the body, the chromatic balance that recalls the discoveries about primary colors made by the Avant-garde in the early 20th century, the skillful use of the baroque perspective that liberated the domes of many churches and the ceilings of aristocratic palaces from architectural rigidity. What makes the artwork even more significant is the Artist's ability to present the body of a contemporary woman as a standard of beauty: slender, with loose hair, seated informally, with shapes that do not dwell on femininity. The elegant accessories indicate a serene yet uninhibited self-awareness.
