Iryna Kastsova is a Belorussian artist born in 1976 who lives and works between Minsk, Belarus and Warsaw, Poland. She is graduated from the Belarusian Academy of Arts in 2002 from the Department of monumental and decorative painting. She is a member of the Youth Union of Artists since 2004. From 2003-2005, she worked in the creative workshop of M.A. Savitsky. In 2004, her first personal exhibition "News of Ancient Days" took place at Museum of Modern Art of Minsk. She participated to International Plein Air "Zelva 2004" in Poland, International Plein Air in Bergen in Norway in 2005, to a personal exhibition in Lunen, Germany, in 2007 to International Plein Air in Ankara, Turkey, in 2008 at Exhibition in Vilnius, Lithuania. She is member of the Belarusian Union of Artists since 2010. In 2011 she participated at Exhibition Art Licor in Pushkino, in Moscow, Russia, in 2012 at exhibition Albatross in Moscow, Russia, in 2013 at International Plein Air, Olsztyn in Poland, in 2014 at ArtExpo in St. Petersburg, in 2015, a solo show in Marbella Spain, in 2017 at International Plein Air in Tenerife, Spain, in 2017, a group show in Malaga, Spain, in 2018 at International Plein Air in Alicante, Spain, in 2019, a group show in Gdansk, Poland, in 2019 at International Plein Air in Benalmadena, Spain. Since 2019, she started to sell her paintings with online galleries. Her works were published in the Belarusian, German, Chinese and Polish press. Her Works are now in the Museum of Modern Art in Minsk and many private collections around the world.
When she worked in the creative workshop of M.A. Savitsky, she created in the style of realism, and impressionism. She developed also a real passion for abstract art and pop art. She loves to experiment the painting. An important place in her work is occupied by nature in all its manifestations. She strives to comprehend and reveal for herself and for the viewer the inner life of nature in all its diversity. At the same time, she really likes to paint abstract paintings, when working on which the emotional aspect is crucial, and color is considered as an object. Her visualization process is based on deliberate coincidence and precise development.
