HumanNotHuman is a small series of digital art pieces that show the transfusion of the human body to technology; it is the representation of the submission of the human body to the metaverse and the disposal of humanoid capacities. As a game artist and developer, I create digital worlds for the player to explore and find stories, however the global interest into living in digital worlds could decide the future of human evolution and its capacity to expand or shrink. As an immigrant from Cuba, I have found here the tools to expand, explore and evolve as a social human, economically and politically, and make a social impact for the community. However, HumanNotHumans wouldn't have the necessity to do any of that, they will always live their own reality, creating their own rules, isolated in their own world of entertainment.
