Spiderman one of America's favorite heroes. Saturday Mornings and much of my childhood in the 90s was spent watching a lot of spiderman the animated series and even Spiderman and his amazing friends.

I think people resonate with Spiderman because his life as Peter Parker on the surface sucks and is filled with tragedy but he still helps people to the best of his ability. He is more relatable than most heroes and as a kid you can connect with his struggles. He also made it cool to be a nerd!

[Fun Fact] Spider-Man, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, first appeared in August 1962 in Amazing Fantasy #15. Spider-Man wasn't actually going to be a spider-based superhero. Stan Lee actually wanted to base a comic on a fly or insect but decided on a spider. Marvel's first spider was actually Spider-Man. (The Fact Site)
