Shots based on the horizon line, the upper parts deceive our eye with depth and references to the real world, the lower spaces are full of randomness and understatement. These are paintings in the process of construction, revealing the unlimited potential of painting means. The paint spills over the horizon, infiltrates the underpainting that is exposed in places, solidifies into random shapes. This constancy of the arrangement, contrasting with the changeability and spontaneity of the painting matter, is an important clue to the correct reading of the meaning of the paintings.
The similarity of their outermost layer may indicate that the theme is, as in the Impressionists, the changeability of optical impressions related to the same motif of the observed nature. Meanwhile, the most important thing is what is hidden under the surface ready for contemplation. The viewer is presented with two images at once; this intimate record, resulting from very personal emotions, being an instinctive, random record, and the landscape that camouflages it, consistent with the art of painting. The former needs to be deeply emotionally experienced, the latter watched.
