John Boudreau is an artist and art instructor at a mental health wellness center in Los Angeles. He has a BFA from Pratt Institute in New York. His artwork has been in some exhibitions to raise awareness on global issues. John is an award winning published artist and hopes is art creates value, inspires others, and visually transports the viewer. John's inspirations include late artists Matta, Matisse, Klint, Dali, Hilma af Klint and also nature. His genre's are intuitive abstracts and symbolic paintings usually in acrylic on canvas. Some of his series have included metal leaf and fumage. The following paintings presented deal with the importance of our Mother Earth and some depict climate change awareness. The shaggy like shapes are made of porcelain clay. The color was achieved using coffee, tea, blueberries, mica, and salt. The tube at the bottom holds soil. The watercolor paper is made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste.
