Displacement

The installation (left image)for the first studio scenario "The Self and Familias" represents the isolation and displacement that can happen as a result of migration. If you look closely, you will see the single yellow yarn weighted by a tangerine amidst the field of red. The same, but unconcealable different.
I have chosen the sight, sense and smell of tangerines for this installation because of its nativity to my home and original country of which I migrated from. Nigeria.
