"My artwork is a multi-media collage meant to resemble a scrapbook full of memories a fictional person had with their friends/community. The scrapbook has lots of colours and pictures covering the pages to grab attention and give the feeling of excitement and joy. The theme of community is shown in my piece through all the colourful memories that can be seen. Although these memories are fictional and didn’t actually happen to anyone, just by looking at them someone can see that someone had a good time. Several of the photos show friends together, which is the most important part of the community.
