A time of decisions, of yes or no, of in or out.
I hadn’t done a proper pouring in weeks, getting back out into the world was consuming. The Turtle had shown up as my spirit animal only weeks before this pouring. I started a session and, for the first time in weeks, dropped into a meditative state with the creative process.
Not thinking and dropping everything I had “planned” to do in the session, I let my hands guide the process. As I spread the golden paint containing silicone oil and the oil’s effects begin to work, I see a turtle shape forming against the black, as if diving into (or out of) a vortex.
It felt like turtle came to my rescue in this session.
The decision was made. For better or for worse, I was in.
