"Daniel Remer�s work focuses on existential issues expressed through still-life compositions. By using a photographic technique called �light painting� he is able to produce extraordinarily rich colours and detailed textures. Influenced by the early Metaphysical and Surrealist painters, the compositions are charged with symbolism and meaning through the precise arrangement and juxtaposition of objects and materials.

Remer is a graduate of The London Film School and has worked on several high-profile movies and television shows, both in the UK and the USA. It was many years later, during the Covid pandemic, that his passion for the still image was rekindled and he returned to his first love - photography.

Through the coalition of the still life genre, together with his unique technique, Remer has developed his own visual language to give full expression to his inner world. In just a short time his work has received awards and recognition."
