"Valeska Hykel is a printmaker and painter based in Bristol. Painting directly on the screen she creates works that toy with boundaries of painting within print. Abstracting the formalities of traditional still life, she plays with colour, light and composition, working intuitively to translate these lessons into expressive monotypes. Valeska was Artist in Residence at Print Club London in April 2023."
