黑暗中的光芒｜Liwanag sa dilim

2022 年是艱難的一年。我們都知道 COVID-19 如何改變了我們在臺灣的日常生活。在 2022 年的 5 月，我經歷了被隔離的時候。被關在一個房間裡好幾天或好幾週的感覺非常沮喪。你會渴望外出看樹、花、天空、太陽，甚至晚上的月亮和星星。幸運的是，我的房間有一個窗戶，我可以看到一小部分世界⋯⋯每天我都會從窗戶往外看，欣賞我所看到的一切⋯⋯對我來說，窗外的一切都是美麗的。我的隔離日子讓我意識到要珍惜和欣賞事物，即使是微小而簡單的事物。這張照片是在破曉時拍攝的，隔離區旁邊的一條狹窄道路，在白天看起來很乏味。也許其他人不會覺得這張照片很美，但對我來說，在那個時候，這是我眼中最有色彩的場景。即將升起的太陽使天空變藍，而等待太陽升起前熄滅的街燈使街道顯得生氣蓬勃。這張照片讓我想起隔離期間的孤獨和焦慮，以及我為了克服這些情緒而抱持的希望和夢想。不要忘記向上帝祈禱，希望我們能始終看到一切的美和善良。生命是短暫的，所以要珍惜。

Year 2022 is a tough year. We all know how the covid-19 change our everyday lives here in Taiwan. It was May 2022 when I experienced to be quarantined. The feeling of being locked in a room for several days or weeks is so depressing. You will have that extreme hunger of going outside to see the tress, flowers, the sky, the sun and even the moon and stars at night. Luckily my room has a window where I can see a small part of the world.. Everyday I always look outside the window and appreciate all that I see.. For me, everything I saw outside that window is beautiful. My quarantine days makes me realize to value and appreciate things, from being small and simple. This picture was taken on a breaking dawn, a narrow road beside our quarantine area that looks so boring during the day. Maybe other people won't find this picture beautiful, but for me, during that time this is the most colorful scene in my eyes. The sun that is about to rise makes the sky blue and the street lights that are just waiting for the sun before it switched off makes the street looks alive..This picture reminds me of the loneliness and anxiety I have during quarantine and the hopes and dreams I am holding on in order to overcome those emotions. Let's not forget to pray to God that we can always see the beauty and goodness in everything. Life is short so treasure it.
