Wash Away

Acrylic on Canvas

Size 18 x 22 inches

Wash Away is an acrylic figurative painting inspired by unleashing colour into your life and releasing all the grey.

I've been an artist since I was a child, using anything I could get my hands on to create! Turning nothing into something has always inspired and fascinated me! - Staring at a blank canvas wondering where it will take you, then after all the hours and emotion, standing back and absorbing your work, realising the outcome, is mesmerising!

I primarily work in Pencils, Acrylics, and Watercolours as I love loose, expressionistic pieces that can be interpreted in so many ways. All art provokes a reaction!
I like to keep my work varied, fresh, and interesting so I will create anything that intrigues me, I find inspiration and beauty in the world around me, any subject be it nude, flowers, animals, etc. in whichever style I feel inspired to create, mainly being: Abstract, Expressionism/Impressionism and illustration.
