Wall of Depression , 2015
43.5 x 43.5 cm (h x w)

According to statistics, about 17.0% of adolescents and 8.4% of adults in the US experienced a major depressive disorder in 2020. Although depression can be treated effectively, 50-60% of people do not seek medical help.

As a society we need to de-stigmatize mental illness and remove the psychological, financial, and bureaucratic walls, so those who struggle no longer despair and feel imprisoned in their status quo but reach out for the resources they need and deserve.
