"My final themed project is based on the theme “Folklore”. I used A4 300gsm
watercolour paper, with the following media: graphite, fineliners and watercolours. For
this piece I wanted to convey the feelings of magic, wonder and slight fear you get when
you listen to old folktales. I used colour and fantasy elements in my drawing to achieve
this feeling, as well as symmetry and tonal values to better highlight these elements. I
loved experimenting and testing my limits by working on this project.
