Goblet (Playing Polo), +/-1250

The inscription reads 'Glory to our master the sultan, the king, the scholar, the august, the champion of the faith, the fighter of the borders, sultan of Islam and Muslims, the sultan, the king'. It was found under the altar of the Church of Santa Margherita, Orvieto, Italy. One wonders if they knew.
