The artist in me is inspired by sunrises, sunsets, flames, lighted windows, street lights at night, skies and water (oceans, rivers, and waterfalls). The essence of capturing light against dark is very appealing to me. The distinctive part of me loves to paint little details that gives the essence of realism combined with impressionisc strokes. Discovering soft pastels turned the page for me. This medium changed my whole perspective of the kind of artist I want to be.
