I started drawing animals a few years ago, shortly after my first dog passed away. My inspiration often comes from scanning wildlife photography sites. The reference photo for this piece came from Pixabay and it really spoke to me about how important family is to all creatures large or small, for support, protection, and love. This piece was done using graphite on tone paper.
