O Yemi Tubi (MOYAT)

“When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.” Genesis 3:6

According to the Holy Bible, the first couple were living innocently and in perpetual bliss before they bite the fruit (apple).

Things went downhill for human race from the time of biting the apple – the sin came in. Prior to biting the apple, everything that God made is good and the couple had good fellowship with their creator.

This painting illustrates the condemnation and the redemption of the human race through the Blood of Christ as the blood of Christ flowing from the cross towards the figure of Adam illustrates Christians’ belief that the blood of Christ washed away the sin of Adam to reconcile God and the human race.
