Madeleine Ziminsky or "eMZy" is a painter from Stowe, Vermont. Her focus is on portraiture, expanding the representation of people of color in art as well as the representation of sexual assault survivors, mental health struggles and grief. Her mediums are mainly acrylic and watercolor paint. She hopes to provide a mirror for those who don't see themselves represented in the art industry, a way to show others that they are seen, heard, and are as beautiful as fine art.
