Jasmin is a short film that captures a day in the life of a young paper boy on the streets of Tunis, where I was born. As he goes about his day selling papers on the street in order to help support his family, Khalil crosses paths with Mahbouba. She is a young girl selling flowers who much like Khalil is forced to face the harsh reality of what it means to live in a poor country. Although their world is harsh they form a special bond with each other and manage to enjoy the life they have. It is an uplifting story of perseverance.
