"BUSTED", relates not only to the presentation in the form of a bust, but also to the issue of police brutality highlighted in the many instances of deaths associated with "I CAN'T BREATHE".

The American criminal justice system has a long history of perpetuating physical, psychological, and institutional violence against African Americans. Despite the persisting injustice of police brutality and wrongful incarcerations that often disrupt lives, education, and futures, many extraordinary individuals still manage to find a path forward. Civil rights pioneers like Reverend Jesse Jackson and educator Angela Davis survived violence and imprisonment to become vocal leaders for racial justice. More recent examples are people like former NFL quarterback Michael Vick, who found success after incarceration; or the many formerly imprisoned young men of color now changing lives through organizations like Chicago’s Mothers Against Senseless Killings. While police brutality and racism creates often insurmountable adversity for communities of color, some remain determined to let their struggles strengthen rather than defeat them. Their journeys demonstrate the hope that still resides where justice is lacking and the power of the human spirit to uplift others.
