I am a lover of daydreams and creating lens-based fantasy art that captures real-world subjects and transforms them into heroes and villains, and everything in between. My subjects are my characters, and I aim to style and capture themes related to culture, folklore, and traditional fairy tales tales spun through a fantastical perspective. My goal is to stir the imagination and to have the viewer revisit beloved characters that they may have created in their minds as children, as it is always an opportunity to be in touch with our own creative power through a narrative perspective. Images that I make are always taken from a digital camera, and then creatively toned and painted on or composited- and my inspirations range from the old masters all the way to modern nerd culture.
