If you have ever driven through Argyle, Ontario in the fall you will have noticed the distinctive blue, green fields of cabbages ready for harvest.
For Peter Rabbit, the cabbage fields are his “dream” come true – cabbages as far as the eye can see.

Sally Howson BIO
My art is influenced by the landscapes I have been fortunate enough to live and work in. Trees, stumps, rocks, water, buildings and everything else around us provides endless scope for my paintings. Before moving to the Haliburton Highlands permanently, I worked in mineral exploration. This provided me with the opportunity to experience different landscapes all across Canada. So many different landscapes to paint!
I have been painting for about 10 years in oil, water colour and lately pastels. Painting can be challenging, but most of all its fun. Best of all I have met some amazing friends through the love of painting.
The journey never ends.
