While we explore the threat of a people’s identity and poisoned waters, the fishermen's tale of an enigmatic creature from our history comes up. The water python and boa constrictor, 'Odum' is revered as our spiritual totems, deeply intertwined with our shared existence as a people. The portrayal of a boy with a hose that looks snake hands subtly suggests the parasitic bond between toxic oil and our sacred waters, illustrating how they warp identity and spawn disturbing monstrous entities.
