Pride , 2023
120 x 160 cm (h x w)
Acrylic on Canvas

Artistic inclination gravitates towards exploring the rawest facets of human existence, delving into the base and unflattering aspects of our nature. Employing an auteur compositional structure rooted in montage, collage, and deliberate contrasts, I aim to accentuate the absurdities inherent in life while elevating the expression of emotional fervor to the realm of the grotesque. Through meticulous methods of deconstruction and fragmentation, my works, such as "Pride," serve as visual narratives wherein individuals undergo a disintegration of self as they grapple with intense emotions.

Beyond delving into the inner psyche of my subjects, I meticulously examine their external manifestations, highlighting the fragmentation of personality, societal stratification, and gradual degradation. However, it's crucial to note that my perspective on these characters isn't solely negative; rather, there exists a nuanced sympathy towards their struggles. Through the meticulous attention to detail and the centralization of compositions, I underscore the universality of my protagonists' experiences, suggesting that anyone can identify with the themes of sinfulness and human fallibility depicted in my art.
