Ramaz Chantladze is a Georgian artist born in 1960 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. He studied at the Jacob Nikoladze School of Art. In 1979-1985 he studied at the Academy of Arts in Tbilisi. He has been a member of the Union of Artists of Georgia since 1997. Ramaz Chantladze, a versatile painter attracted critical attention with his works from the very beginning of his career. He defines himself via a particular vision and in an individual way. He has sought creative avenues throughout his career, not only artistic, but also performance art and experimental painting techniques. Each artist has his own special method of expression, which is mainly presented in his art. The main expressive language of the works of Ramaz Chantladze is color.

The leading role of colors is perhaps best presented in his multiple still lifes and especially in his "portrait" expressions of clowns. It is worth mentioning the series of paintings of fairy animals and birds. The entire surface of the paintings is based on a kind of play with colors, sometimes all the expressions in flat tints and sometimes, on the contrary, mosaic colors appear, which recalls the technique of pointillism with its breadth. In addition, the expressive power of light colors and the interrelation of bright tones trigger the association of Vitrage Art.
