About the artist...
With over four decades of experience, artist Sharon Will seamlessly transitions from oils to pastels, embracing both mediums with a focus on plein air painting. Landscapes captivate her, serving as the wellspring of inspiration, resulting in numerous accolades, including the prestigious IAPS PRIX de PASTEL. Inducted into the Master’s Circle of the International Association of Pastel Societies and recognized as a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast, Sharon extends her creative touch to custom framing.
Beyond her home/studio, Sharon, accompanied by her husband and golden retriever, explores the countryside, capturing its essence through paintbrush and lens. In her own words, "Much of my work today is done plein air, as I find it the most satisfying. There is nothing more exhilarating than being outdoors working from life in all seasons." Her commitment to direct observation reflects a belief that it's the only way to capture nature's subtle hues.
