I often create imaginary scenes using a small lightbox on my dining room table at home. These scenes transport me to other worlds. On this particular occasion I was looking at all the sugar strands on a doughnut and imagined each strand being added individually by hand. I then came up with this concept of little people adding the decoration to the doughnut.
