Birdie Blue Eyes!

[BPA2024-64]

Meet Birdie!... my 14 weeks old blue point ragdoll kitten. She's an indoor cat, so all photos are taken at home, usually in my living room which is the brightest room in the house.
This particular image was taken to capture her beautiful striking blue eyes. I took it using the portrait camera settings on my iPhone, so that the main focus was solely on her eyes, nose and mouth and everything else slightly blurred out. I only ever use natural lighting, so when she's sitting in front of our patio doors‚ I take every opportunity to get my phone! She loves being the centre of attention so I have no problem getting her to stay still to get focus. I cropped the image to 'square' to crop out any unwanted background objects so that her face fits the full size. I lowered the temperature slightly to make her eyes cooler and more blue, whilst decreasing the saturation ever so slightly to make her fur brighter with less of a yellow tinge.
