My work is a mixed media treasure hunt, hoping to find something familiar through organically shaped abstraction.

I peaked in high school, then fell face first into mental illness. Year long bouts of agoraphobia preceded my art school experience. Having lived through the darkness made me want to escape it. That's why I create; to cheer myself up. That's also why I have no interest in delving into dark subjects. Daddy needs his dopamine!
I try to be unique in my artistic endeavors, but the devil on my shoulder tells me "It's all been done before". Trying to do what has NOT been done is what fuels me. It's challenging, but rewarding.
