Platter with centaur, pairs of deer and floral decoration , 8th-9th century CE

The centaur at center and the pairs of standing confronted
winged animals are typical of the silverware of various
Central Asian silver workshops but the specific motifs
and their treatment here are distinctive. Inscribed in
Tibetan intermixed with Chinese characters on reverse
