Watercolour on canson paper, 101.6*64.8cm

Maryam Ali Al-Hatami is an Omani artist from one of the quiet villages of Al-Rustaq, I love all kinds of art, and watercolors have passed me more than others, I am inspired by my ideas inspired by nature and my country culture, the beginning was a stage of discovery of the material and it was not based on foundations and techniques. I started at an early age and self-disciled myself and found my own style after continuous attempts and exercises, then I entered my individual personality with every work I produce and so the viewer distinguishes me. World artist Cezanne says ‘a work of art that is not born of emotion and influence cannot be considered art’ I am trying to translate the cultural diversity of my country in my style and my color techniques that express my emotions and deep influence, I want to show you my country how you look through my art.
