Aysun is Rori’s eldest daughter. She pursued her education at FIU and secured an internship at the same company where her mother was employed. Since then, she has remained with the company, now working for Lufthansa in maintenance and repairs.

Aysun chooses to wear the headscarf while at work and interacts comfortably with her coworkers. She observes that in the social scene, her colleagues are notably protective of her. She mentions that many of her Muslim acquaintances in the Miami area opt not to wear the headscarf. However, in places like Orlando, FL, and Charlotte, NC, wearing the headscarf is proudly embraced as a symbol of identity and heritage.
