Docent: George Marshall
h = 135 cm

Our docent is George Marshall, a key American military leader and diplomat. Marshall's most notable achievement was the Marshall Plan, which played a crucial role in rebuilding Western Europe after World War II and preventing the spread of communism. Additionally, as Secretary of State, he significantly shaped the Truman Doctrine, which committed the United States to supporting nations threatened by communism.

George Marshall's leadership exemplifies America's efforts to contain communism and reconstruct Europe after WWII. He was a remarkable individual who greatly contributed to his country. We chose him because we believe he is reliable and well-informed about the overall situation during that time.
