I am an abstract watercolour artist from Barnsley, South Yorkshire. I especially enjoy experimenting with impasto style watercolours and non-traditional forms of mark-making. Painting, for me, is both spiritual and therapeutic. When experiencing problems in life or with my mental health I turn to painting as a form of healing, and also as a way to articulate my feelings when I am unable to find the words. My subject matter revolves around feelings and emotions, as well as dreams and ideas. I base my paintings on the sense of atmosphere I experience from these different concepts as I perceive them.
