Lobed bowl with Boars'head , 5th-6th century
Gilded Silver

Features many of the animals that served as quarry for hunts. The head of a boar dominates the center of the bowl, flanked by an antelope on one side and an elk on the other. On the top and bottom are the figures of a tiger, with a vine motif separating the bands of design.
