The rain on the horizon looks to be short-lived with the clouds opening up to allow sunshine soon to follow. As someone who lives on the west coast, though prairie born, I am accustomed to a variety of weather options throughout one day so am never troubled by on coming rain. It can soon be just a memory. All part of the mix of life.

Adding drywall compound I have created much of the texture in both the field and parts of the sky in an attempt to give the illusion of depth.
