Born in near Tokyo, she found solace and expression in the lines and swirls she drew on my home's floors and walls before she even knew words. Although she studied law in university, but her soul was always anchored in the intricate beauty of Japanese culture and its traditional arts. With an unyielding love for Kabuki, Noh, Kyogen, and Bunraku, she found her true calling in the depths of ink wash painting. For nearly a decade, she immersed herself in the delicate dance of brush and ink, letting the essence of Japanese tradition flow through her. But it was a moment of adversity that rekindled her passion for creation. In 2014, amidst a battle with illness, she rediscovered the boundless freedom of expression in ink wash painting. And in the swirling hues of 2023, she found a new path, a vibrant canvas beckoning her to share her vision with the world. Since that pivotal moment, her acrylic creations have graced the walls of galleries from Tokyo, Paris, London, Madrid and New York, each stroke a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the enduring beauty of Japanese artistry. Join her on this journey as we explore the fusion of tradition and innovation, where every brushstroke whispers the secrets of the past and paints a canvas of boundless possibilities.
