The work is inspired by the action paintings of Jackson Pollock. For this work, I took his process further, using an orbital sander loaded with paint to make the marks to minimize my conscious choices for this painting. In this way, the result of this process is an artwork that is cybernetic, a hybrid output of man and machine.
