A group of paintings depicting the human body combined with various animal features such as skulls and wings to convey my distorted selfperception and unpredictable, unwelcome thoughts. My main inspiration
was the surreal feelings and juxtaposition of human and animal in the art of Matthew Grabelsky. I made an outline in pencil before painting the figure and the background in acrylic paint. I used various techniques such as dry brush and combing to create textures and patterns.
