The Eye of the Butterfly

The eye of the butterfly represents the symbol of rebirth inside each of us. A butterfly goes through so many life cycles just like us - from larva to caterpillar to chrysalis, and finally to a beautiful, flying butterfly through the loss we each suffer in some sort of way in a lifetime. Butterflies have been known as a symbol of transformation, hope, life, and spirit. And just like the eye of the storm that enters our life at times, it is an opportunity for rebirth when we
come out the other side like a colorful butterfly. My abstract art is created using lines and colors that transfer a story of pain, resilience and hope through every stroke. Each unique piece can be viewed as an explorative expression that tells a symbolic story, inviting the viewer to connect to their own experiences or the work can just be admired for its bold colors or unique patterns.
I advocate for and present on the power of the healing arts as a part of a body, mind, and spirit practice. You can also find me on Instagram or Facebook @encasawithm and www.encasawithm.com.
