A Shard of Time

Glass in resin and acrylic
This piece is a shard of broken glass casted in epoxy resin on a frame. This again explores the vices of today through the scope of alcoholism. Casting it in epoxy makes it timeless and hence universal, showing well how the theme can be applied everywhere. The progression of glasses until the fall displays the pattern repeating itself until it is too late giving rise to drastic consequences alluded to by the glass broken into many shards. The fall here is both figurative and literal.
