The painting that was produced was inspired by the clash of ancient and modern entertainment, where ancient times highlighted wayang kulit as one of the subjects of traditional Malay entertainment that was very popular at Kelantan in 1834. Wayang kulit also has many characters played including Sang Kula, Raden Galoh Gifts of Kirana, Arjuna, Sang Dewa and Raden Inu Kartapati. However, in this generation , wayang kulit has been forgotten and is considered to have never existed by the current generation, only a few still consider wayang kulit to be an interesting form of entertainment. This is because, the advent of social media makes the current generation forget how great and amazing wayang kulit is in our industry .It’s even sadder that many young people in this generation do not know about wayang kulit, also the parents never tell their children how great wayang kulit that was performed by our ancestors in the past. With entertainment on social media that know as WhatsApp, Netflix, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat and many more ,even thought to be absent from our society now.
