Fictional Short Story

This personal piece inspects the growth of a person who comes to understand their parents as human, and also that they share narratives with one another. It illustrates how people can live and grow through their problems; and it reveals how, with age, an individual begins to understand others and recognize their inherent flaws, a process that can either bring a sense of connection and love or resentment and dismissal.
