One of my ever popular ‘Tree Portraits’. Still my favorite thing to paint perhaps, especially with all the funky texture. This one is called ‘Hot Flash’ because of a comment one lady made when she saw the painting. It’s the middle of winter, and the heat turns on (hot colors in the background). I guess she could relate.
