TITTLE | INFINITY LIGHTS , YEAR | 2020

CATEGORY | Textile design

MATERIAL | Non-woven
TECHNIQUE | Laser technology

This design concept is inspired by the "Tao Te Ching," drawing upon the infinite variations created by a beam of light expanding from small to large, forming corresponding patterns and motifs. It also integrates concepts from the "Book of Changes," resulting in two symmetrical shapes with contrasting yin-yang patterns that reflect the principles of "the interaction of opposites" and "mutual dependence." The overall design utilizes laser surface treatment on non-woven fabrics to present abstract and versatile patterns, incorporating changes in light and shadow to embody a contemporary design aesthetic.
